11th edition of SulaFest 2018 wrapped up

SulaFest 2018, which was held on 3rd and 4th February, concluded on a high note. This was the 11th edition of the two-day music, food and wine extravaganza. Set against the backdrop of Sula’s own vineyards, the festival gave audiences a unique experience by clubbing together music, food and wine.
This year fest-goers got to listen to the tunes of over 100 artists on two stages including Bollywood sensation Amit Trivedi, Gypsy Hill, electronic-folk band Crystal Fighters, Austrian music producer and performing artist Parov Stellar and vocal groove band Bauchklang.

The gourmet food spread gave fest-goers a chance to enjoy a range of cuisines including Oriental, Mughlai, Indian and Italian. In addition to wines from Sula, brands such as Beluga, Hardys, Mud House, Kumala, Asahi, Cointreau, Highland Queen and Pitu Cachaca also marked their presence.
The event also saw the presence of celebrities, socialites and industrialists such as Shibani Kashyap, actor Siddharth of ‘Rang De Basanti’ fame, Sonali Sehgal of ‘Pyaar ka Punchnama’, Prahlad Kakkar, Suchitra Pillai, Kashmira Shah and Mansi Scott.

Talking about the two-day fest, Rajeev Samant, CEO and founder of Sula Vineyards said, “It is always a delight to open our doors for SulaFest and see so many people have a great time. I am immensely grateful to all our partners and the artists for the part they play in SulaFest but of course it is the audience that makes it such a great experience.”

Some highlights of the festival included curated experiences, such as grape stomping sessions and games hosted by Tinder. ‘Camp Tinder’ featured bonfire sessions with acoustic performances by artists. Other activities that the crowd enjoyed included the meet-and-greet sessions with artists performing at the SulaFest tent city, treasure hunts and exquisite wine and food pairing sessions. The SulaFest Bazaar offered a selection of unique, funky items that added to the festival experience, especially for all the shopaholics!
