The land is governed by laws for the welfare of the people themselves residing in it and from security view point. There is nothing above the law. Updating/ modifying/ scrutinizing existing laws is due to the prevailing conditions of the nation.
If may seem that the French are not only opposing Moslims but the religion and culture too. On the other side of the coin is that the due to wrong actions/ wrong doings of certain worldwide Moslims on the social front rest of the Moslims of the world have to pay the price.
Almighty knows the true intentions of every human being Moslim or non-Moslim.

oh really? so there are not droves and droves of bikinis from casablanca, to luxor, and from beirut to abu dhabi. Have you even been to the middle east? In fact tourists almost never follow the rules, nor are they expected to even in saudi arabia, they have compounds completely american/british in nature, and western women are only required to wear jeans and shirts. In nearly every other muslim country in the area, tourists drink go about almost naked. so please tell me who is respecting the laws????? Oh and i suppose the french were so willing to follow the laws of the land when they invaded the maghreb???? In fact they follow the laws now about as much as they did then. No no it's all a one way street where western people like to pretend that they follow the laws and customs when they vist a country and the muslims don't what a big fat lie.

Middle Eastern people should respect the laws of the countries they choose to visit, France included. The middle east has its own bizarre set of laws and westerners have to abide by them or face severe penalties..far harsher than a coulpe of hunder dollars fine.
If you don't like it then don't visit, pretty simple really.

What amazes me is why Middle Eastern people insist on visiting & spending thousands of dollars on countries like France who have never and will never be friendly or welcoming towards any nationality except theirs. I have visited Istanbul twice so far and totally in love with it. Its scenery is gorgeous with the beautiful Bhosphorus river. The nice thing about it is its an Islamic country where Moslems are very relaxed and feel at home, Burqua's are allowed, the food is delicious, halal, and very close to Middle Eastern dishes, the people are friendly, the hotels are nice and clean, shopping is great for clothes etc... , a perfect holiday experience and very welcoming. All nationalities are treated with kindness, respect and friendliness. So come on people, divert to somewhere where you can spend you money and be happy rather than somewhere where you are degraded, disrespected and overcharged. Malaysia is a good option as well.
