Siemens has launched a new range of DELTA reflex motion detectors which are available with a remote control setting option. The detectors are waterproof (IP55) and suitable for outdoor as well as indoor mounting. It addresses some of the prime concerns of recent times like energy saving, safety against intrusion and easy user controls. It can be connected to lamps to light the areas only when somebody passes through.
It saves power as well as convenience of automation in passages and wash rooms in hotels. The motion detectors at entrances can automatically open the doors for visitors. It can be also used to restrain the movement of unauthorized persons in restricted areas.
