What does your job entail on a daily basis?
Planning and ensuring that standards are maintained. Motivating and working with the team to ensure guest satisfaction.
What is your favourite part of this job?
The life line of any food and beverage operation is in creativity and delivering experience.
This aspect is my favorite part of being in food and beverage.
Which parts of the job do you not like and how do you motivate yourself to do them?
Every job has its positives and negatives. However, if you are working for a company which provides you with the tools and environment to help you achieve your goals, both personal and professional, then you enjoy what you do, and that is the best motivation.
What is the funniest thing that ever happened to you at work?
Every year, the Marriott hosts a week long event to acknowledge and appreciate all associates across all Marriott properties in the world. Participating in these events - that vary from a dance performance, fashion show etc, is great fun - interspersed with fun goofy moments whilst practicing for the final act.

What is your all time favorite movie and why?
The Godfather. I love the performances of Marlon Brando and Al Pacino.
If you could do any job in the world what would it be?
It would definitely be in hotels, the industry gets you addicted to it, the pace, the pressure and focus on delivery is unparallel to any other industry. Since, these are aspects of my job that I love, I do not think I would fit into any other industry.
Which celebrities have you met at work and what were they like?
Over the course of years I have met a lot of celebrities, Hollywood, Bollywood and sports personalities.
They are very easy going and great personalities. I personally think most of them are very down to earth and pleasant people unlike the perception the media creates for them.
Which is your favourite hotel in the world?
Goa Marriott, I started my career with that hotel and it would always remain my favourite hotel.
What is your motto in life?
You live only once, live your life to the fullest.
