HIFI Hall of Fame award for Leela's Captain Nair

The chairman of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, Captain CP Krishnan Nair, will receive the Hall of Fame award from Burba Hotel Network (BHN) at the Hotel Investment Forum India (HIFI), to be held during January 12-14, 2010, in Mumbai.

“We are delighted to have Captain CP Krishnan Nair receive the HIFI Hall of Fame Award. His successful career, contributions, and leadership in the Indian economy and community, and his philanthropic leadership, truly represents what the HIFI Hall of Fame Award was designed to honour,” said Jim Burba, president of HIFI host, BHN.

The organiser said that the HIFI Hall of Fame award is presented to an individual in the hospitality industry who exemplifies outstanding business practices, leadership, and achievements, both professionally and personally. The chairman of the Oberoi Group, PRS Oberoi, was awarded the first Hall of Fame Award in 2009.
