The UK based shower designer and manufacture, Roman, has introduced their Infinity range of shower trays in India. The company says that they have made a massive breakthrough in tray technology which will change the way shower tray is installed.
The Infinity tray is designed to seamlessly blend into the bathroom flooring to offer complete level access without the need to step up into the enclosure. It is manufactured from Roman stone, a solid surface material which is self-reinforcing ensuring the tray remains strong and smooth. The self-reinforcing nature enables the tray to be laid directly down to joist, so that once the floor tiles are laid it creates level access into the showering area.

The Infinity tray has been designed with a single angle flow to waste to maximise flow rating. The waste is suitable for power shower systems and carries away an exceptionally high flow rate. “We have been able to cleverly design a tray that incorporates a sloping angle flow to encourage the water towards the waste, whilst the cover piece discreetly covers the waste to deliver a minimalist look,” said David Osborne, managing director at Roman.
The tray eliminates the step up into the tray associated with more traditional designs, offering effortless entry. The Infinity tray is available in four rectangle sizes: 1200 x 800, 1200 x 900, 1400 x 900, 1600 x 800mm, and as a quadrant option.
