Phoenix Hospitality has confirmed it is in talks with Marriott International for a five-star hotel property in the central suburban area of Kurla, Mumbai. Phoenix Hospitality is leading the SPV – Offbeat Developers - along with HBS Realtors and Pradhan Housing.
“We are considering a five-star hotel project in Kurla and Marriott is one of the companies we are talking to for a management contract. But no deal has been signed,” said Shishir Shrivastava, CEO, Phoenix Hospitality.
Phoenix is developing the 355,000 square foot five-star business hotel with around 150 rooms at its Market City mall in Kurla, Mumbai. The hotel is expected to be operational by 2010.
