HSH manages the The Peninsula brand of hotels in Asia and the USA
Sir Michael Kadoorie, chairman of the Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HSH), will receive the lifetime achievement award at Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific (HICAP), scheduled for October 14-16, 2009, at the InterContinental, Hong Kong.
Sir Michael's HSH and its jointly controlled entity are engaged in the ownership and management of prestigious hotels, and commercial and residential properties, in key destinations in Asia and the USA. The hotel portfolio of the group includes: The Peninsula Hong Kong; The Peninsula New York; The Peninsula Chicago; The Peninsula Beverly Hills; The Peninsula Tokyo; The Peninsula Bangkok; The Peninsula Beijing; The Peninsula Manila; and The Peninsula Shanghai (opening in late 2009).
The HICAP, organised and co-host by Horwath HTL and Burba Hotel Network, presents this award to a leader who has made a considerable difference in the hotel industry in the Asia Pacific region as well as the world, through positive actions and significant contributions.
