Intervitis India, a technology trade fair organised by Messe Stuttgart and the Nashik Valley Wine Growers Association, will see its second edition take place on November 5, at the Gateway Hotel Ambad, Nashik. The German Wine Growers Association is the prime sponsor for the event.

Differing from its European correlate, Intervitis Interfructa, which addresses development in the fruit and fruit juice industry, Intervitis India will particularly be aimed at viticulture techniques, machinery, and quality improvement within the wine fraternity of India. The fair will profile Indian speakers on emerging trends, as also have technical seminars by wine academicians from Germany. Bhardwaj Dave, India coordinator, Ratna Beratung (the official Indian representative of Intervitis Interfructa, Stuttgart ) said: “Initially, we intend to focus on Maharashtra, as the majority of wineries are concentrated in and around Nashik. “
