Cinnabon in Mumbai soon

Dish Hospitality, part of the Wadhawan Group, is all set to launch Cinnabon in Mumbai. Seeing a March launch, the two outlets will come up in Bandra and Juhu respectively, and will be standalones as opposed to the mall format of the New Delhi outlet which opened in August last year.
“We will be launching the bakery-cafe format soon which will have the entire range; it will be operational in this year,” said Naveen Madan, brand manager, Dish Hospitality.
The company will be opening 150 outlets in the next eight-nine years. “An investment of Rs150 crore has been envisaged, and we are absolutely on track,” said Madan. “The Delhi Cinnabon has exceeded our expectations; it is tremendously popular.”
Cinnabon in India has altered its international standard menu to include eggless products to suit the Indian clientele. This is the first time it is ever doing this.
Cinnabon is part of the US-based Focus brands, who also has Carvel Icecream, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Seattle’s Best Coffee International, and Schlotzsky’s Deli under their umbrella. Their focus is studying the Indian market to ascertain whether they can launch Moe’s and Schlotzsky’s here.
“It is too premature to talk on this and it is too early to comment on whether we will be involved with it,” said Madan.
