Fortune Park announces 2010 opening schedule

ITC's mid-market hotel brand, Fortune Park, has announced its opening schedule for 2010. The brands plans six hotels in NCR in time for the CWG and one each in Kolkata, Gandhinagar and Thane through this year.
This comes on the heels of Fortune Park opening six hotels in 2009; Lavasa, NOIDA, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Mussoorie and Goa. With the new additions this year, Fortune Park will increase its room count by 1,000 to 3,600. The brand now has 32 properties across India with the new 68-room Fortune Park Vallabha Hyderabad opening earlier this week.
In a media interaction at the Hyderabad opening, Pawan Verma, senior vice-president at ITC's hotels division said he felt the business environment is picking up which will help his brand bridge the gap between the Rs1,600-Rs6,000 hotel price range.
At the same Hyderbad opening, Suresh Kumar, Fortune Park's president said his company had 57 alliances with a total room inventory of 4,669 rooms across 43 Indian cities.
