Kamat Hotels (India) profits in Q3 '09
Kamat Hotels (India) swung to profit for the quarter ended December 2009. During the quarter, the company reported profit of Rs6. 95 crore compared with a loss of Rs1.52 crore for the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose marginally by 4.38% to Rs29.5 crore, while total income for the quarter rose by 26.17% to Rs35.67 crore, when compared with the prior year period.
It reported profit of Rs4.62 a share during the quarter compared with a loss of Rs1.15 a share in prior year period.
Shares of the company gained Rs1 or 1.6%, to trade at Rs63.35.
