TGIF gives vegetarians a reason to smile this season
Casual dining restaurant chain, TGIF, has launched a Vegetarian Food Festival this season that has a menu of American and Tex-Mex delicacies. The menu is timed to coincide with the month when majority of Hindu diners fast and yet seek interesting meal options while dining out.
The festival meal menu includes dishes like the Mexican Vegetable Platter, an assortment of Cauliflower Wings, Balsamic Grilled Mushroom Veggie Skewers, Vegetali Tostados, served with garlic bread and New Orleans Corn Cob and had choice of side from Pasta Puttanesca with sharing options like Onion Rings or Caesar Salad.
The healthy options like Portobello, Bean and Quinoa Burger is made with seasoned and spiced bean and quinoa patty fried to order with Pepper Jack Cheese and Pan Seared imported Portobello mushroom is served with tasted buttery rich multigrain brioche bun. Another interesting innovation for vegetarians is the crunchy Frankâ€™s Red Cauliflower Wings that has cauliflower that is marinated, batter fried and later tossed in Frankâ€™s RedHot sauce.
The sizzling Portobello and Aubergine Fajita has slices of marinated and grilled imported Portobello mushroom and seasoned grilled eggplant served on a skillet of roasted onions, red and green pepper and chef special rice. Accompanied with warm tortillas, pico de gallo and guacamole, it is aimed to satiate a dinerâ€™s meaty cravings.
