The Fern Hotels & Resorts expects 20% growth in rooms, revenues
The Fern Hotels & Resorts,Â an environmentally sensitive hotel chain,Â recently organised a general manager meet at The Fern Gir Forest Resort. At the event, the companyâ€™s MD, Param Kannampilly, said, â€śDuring the last two years, we have witnessed more than 60% growth in terms of keys. It has also led to over 50% revenue increase. In the currentÂ year, we are bullish about our growth and are expecting 15% to 20% growth, in terms of revenue and number of keys.â€ť
Outlining the companyâ€™s vision statement he said that it was to be a partner, employer and hotel of choice, so that all stakeholders are happy and satisfied with the company. He exhorted the general managers of brandâ€™s properties to ensure the regularÂ upkeep of their respective hotels so that a guestâ€™s comfort is never compromised at any cost. â€śWhile intelligent cost cutting is required, it should never be at the expense of guest satisfaction,â€ť Kannampilly pointed out.
As many as 55 general managers, regional sales officers, sales heads, and the corporate management of the company participated in the two-day long meet.Â Debasish Muduli and Manish Kumar received General Manager of the Year Award for 2015-16 and 2016-17, respectively. The company also felicitated Punish Sharma, general manager of Meluha The Fern, Mumbai, for completing 10 years in theÂ organisation.
