Sushma Khichar appointed as hotel manager for Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park

Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park has announced the appointment of Sushma Khichar as the new hotel manager. In her new role, she would head the overall hotel operations and create new business opportunities, develop talent, create business development plans and guidelines for maintaining market leadership.
Speaking on her appointment, Khichar said, “Aloft as a brand is an exciting and challenging one and I’m delighted to join this team. I look forward to maintaining highest quality standards and raising the bar of expectations for our guests by providing them with newer and evolved experiences.”
Khichar brings with her 14+ years of experience and has a proven track record of leading and executing business strategies. Previously, she has been associated with The Oberoi Mumbai, ITC Grand Maratha and Sheraton Tower Mumbai, The Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre, Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai, JW Marriott Chandigarh, JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort and Spa and most recently, Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield before joining Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park. She has also been a part of pre-openings with Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre – New Tower in 2008, JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa in 2014, Renaissance Lucknow in 2015 and Welligama Marriott Sri Lanka in 2016.
Besides, she has won numerous reputed recognition including ‘Excellence in delivering Guest Experience, APAC, Marriott International, 2017’; ‘Room Operations Award, Marriott International, 2017’; ‘Excellence in delivering Guest Experience, APAC, 2016’; ‘Hotelier India Award – Director of Rooms in Top 5, 2016’; ‘Operations Excellence Awards, 2016’ and ‘Market Vice President – Special achievement award, Marriott India, 2015’ to name a few.
