Terming India as a land of opportunities, AccorHotels chairman and CEO Sébastien Bazin told Hotelier India that there is an increasing demand for luxury travel in India which makes this market very important for them. He also stated that with Rajasthan being a popular wedding destination, it was the perfect place for them to launch their project.

The new properties will also be associated with the brands loyalty program, ‘Accor Live Limitless,’ for which, Bazin was quick to inform us about their multi-year partnership with Paris Saint-Germain. The programme will be the principal partner for the French football club. It also has a tie-up with IMG to unlock access for loyal members to chef master classes and culinary encounters in an attempt to create special experiences for their guests.

Raffles Udaipur, with 101 lake-facing rooms and suites will be set-up on a 21-acre private island in the midst of Udai Sagar Lake and is expected to open by mid-2020 while Raffles Jaipur is being built at Kukas as a set of secluded private residences and will commence operations in 2022. Accor is also looking to offer a digital platform for its hospitality offerings with
the launch of these two properties.
