Accor opens 100th Mercure hotel in Asia Pacific

Two new Mercure hotels were officially opened in India today, one in Hyderabad and the other in Lavasa. The two hotels commemorate the 100th and 101st hotels for the Mercure brand in Asia Pacific.

Jean-Michel Casse, senior vice-president Operations for Accor India said, “The opening of Mercure Hyderabad Abids as the 100th Mercure in Asia is a milestone achievement. Mercure Lavasa will provide a unique setting with the hotel being a part of the first hill city development in Lavasa.

Mercure Hyderabad is located in Abids in Hyderabad and offers 82 spacious, well equipped rooms and suites, while the Mercure Lavasa is situated in the majestic Sahyadhri mountains in the Western Ghats of India.

With more than 670 hotels in nearly 50 countries, the Mercure banner has broadened its network on all continents and has recently entered new country markets including in India and Vietnam.
