Shangri-La Bengaluru announces the appointment of Debanjan Kundu as the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) of the hotel. With close to two decades of expertise in the hospitality sector, Debanjan is set to expand the hotel’s market and augment its revenue.
Debanjan’s extensive background encompasses diverse hospitality operations and management roles at esteemed luxury brands in India and the Maldives. He has previously served in various Director of Sales and Marketing positions at luxury hotels across Hyderabad and Bengaluru, as well as holding the position of Senior Director of Sales-India, at Amadeus.
Beginning his career as a Corporate Trainee in Kolkata, Debanjan transitioned his focus to sales, where his genial demeanour and methodical approach facilitated the development of strategic plans for expanding market presence and driving business growth. His MBA in marketing from the University of Wales, Trinity St David, further fortified his skills and knowledge for success in his field.
