The flagship property of JW Marriott Hotels in India is bringing a taste of curated Cantonese and classic Chinese cuisine by revamping their menu with the appointment of Chef Huanxi Yan.

With an illustrious career spanning over a decade, Chef Huanxi Yan brings with him immense knowledge, understanding of the culinary skills and has worked with renowned hotel brands located in the Middle East and across Asia.

With his expertise, flair and creativity, Dashanzi is slated to go a step further in cementing its position as the “Go To” destination for Asian cuisine in the city. Chef Huanxi Yan redefines Asian cuisine in a contemporary manner, marrying the traditional and regional cooking elements. His food is meant to capture the nuances, freshness and complexity of flavors in a luxurious setting.

Chef Huanxi Yan is known for redefining Asian cuisine in a modern fashion by joining the traditional Cantonese traditions with international ingredients.

He is excited to be joining Dashanzi and is looking forward to creating signature innovative Asian recipes along with showcasing hand crafted dim sums, house made noodles and sushi. A few of his signature dishes include; Spicy Butter Shimeji Mushroom with Chef’s special spices, Deep Fried Sesame Prawns, Spicy Garlic Pork Roll, Pan Fried Seabass with XO Sauce, Sanpei Chicken Clay Pot, Braised Tofu with Edamame preserved with Chili sauce, slow cooked Four Treasure Pork Meat Ball and many more.
