Brigade Foundation allocates Rs. 2.5 Crores towards the welfare of 10,000 construction workers
Brigade has contributed Rs.10 lakhs towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund COVID-19.
The world is facing an unprecedented challenge with communities and economies everywhere affected by the growing COVID-19 pandemic. The world is coming together to combat the COVID-19 pandemic bringing governments, organizations from across industries and sectors and individuals together to help respond to this global outbreak. The outpouring of global solidarity and support sparked by this shared challenge has been phenomenal.
Brigade Group, has allocated through the Brigade Foundation, Rs. 2.5 Crores on an immediate basis, towards the welfare of 10,000 construction workers.
These funds will be used across multiple outreach efforts, including direct provision of daily rations, sponsoring 60,000 meals through Akshaya Patra, and wherever possible, direct transfer payments to their Jan Dhan accounts.
A spokesperson of Brigade Group was quoted, “We want to ensure our extended family is in safe hands. Together, as Brigadiers, we will fight through these challenging times.”
Brigade is making all efforts to keep the construction workers motivated, safe and healthy, by conducting counselling sessions and exercise sessions to stay mentally and physically active.
In addition, Brigade has contributed Rs.10 lakhs towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund COVID-19.
