IHCL hotels across the nation led the way by lighting up diyas in the hotels to show their solidarity and continuous support for frontline workers, its guests, employees and community
Further to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s appeal to the nation to light candles/ diyas as a mark of respect towards healthcare and frontline workers who are working round the clock in the tough times of COVID-19, even IHCL hotels too contributed their efforts in the cause.
All the IHCL hotels across the nation led the way by lighting up diyas in the hotels to show their solidarity and continuous support for frontline workers, its guests, employees and community.
Also, the hotel teams across all IHCL properties also sent out a beautiful message, which says, “We deeply appreciate the continued efforts of all those at the frontlines, working tirelessly around the clock, to keep our community safe and healthy. We stand in solidarity with the Government and all the citizens of India - in heartfelt support, as we navigate through these tough times, together.”
Besides this, the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), the hospitality business of Tata Sons, recently had opened the doors of their luxury hotels for the medical personnel who are treating coronavirus patients. The rooms at Taj Hotel Colaba, Taj Lands End Bandra, and Hotel President in Cuffe Parade were provided to BMC doctors working on COVID-19 duty.
