All the hotels under The Leela brand have come forward to extend a helping hand to the underprivileged sections of the society, who are adversely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
The Leela hotels have collaborated with local authorities to provide ‘care packages’ consisting of daily need food provisions, personal hygiene products along with food packets. These have been provided to more than 200 underprivileged families.
Shedding more details on the initiative, a spokesperson from the hotel said, “We are grateful to our team members who have participated in this initiative and extend our gratitude to the front line police officials who are helping us distribute the packages to the families who need it the most. Our initiative reinstates our commitment and ‘Leela dharma’ to work for the welfare and betterment of our society, with courtesy and consideration for everyone.”
Apart from this, The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi is also providing accommodation and related services for 50+ doctors and paramedic staff working tirelessly at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Shahdara.
