While ‘Work from Home’ (WFH) was once a rare phenomenon for businesses, it has now become the new normal in the times of coronavirus lockdown.  Millions of companies worldwide have already deployed work from home practice for their employees. While some employees are used to WFH lifestyle (given the nature of their work profiles), for others it may prove to be a testing exercise, especially for those individuals who are accustomed to travelling and working in isolation. In a bid to provide an ambient and alternate workspace environment for the corporate and senior management of the companies, The Pride Hotels have started a new initiative called Work from Pride.

Designed specifically for corporate travellers and professionals belonging to the field of IT, finance, business development among others, Pride Hotel’s new initiative aims to provide customized workspace well-equipped with high-speed internet connection and business centre facilities. As a part of the package, the guests will be provided with a comfortable stay along with in-room customized meal menu inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides, the guests can also relish tea, coffee, sweet and savoury cookies amid their working hours.

Guests can avail this package for 4 nights/5 days at a price starting from INR 15,700 plus taxes upto INR 30, 250 plus taxes. The Work from Pride offer will be valid till 30th Sep’20 and will be effective once the lockdown is eased/ lifted.

"We are pleased to introduce, the 'Work from Pride' initiative across our hotels, wherein the rooms of the hotels can be booked by individuals or companies as their alternative workplace.  It is specifically designed for the corporate travellers or the professionals (like Auditors, Bankers, IT/ BD managers) who have kept their work on hold due to the government-imposed restriction in their areas or are unable to efficiently work from home. The initiative will only commence once the lockdown is called off/ eased.  This initiative will be helpful for people and the companies situated in the lockdown areas as they can book a room with us for their official work purpose, says Anurag Raha, GM, Pride Hotel Pune.

Raha also mentioned that anyone who avails this facility will have to follow health directives as prescribed by the government.  In terms of maintaining hygiene standards, the hotel is ensuring to enact on the precautionary operational protocols including, the deep-cleaning measures at key areas such as colleague lockers, all public areas, spa, pool, restaurants, meeting spaces, rooms, and suites, adds Raha.
