Cygnett Hotels and Resorts has initiated a wide-ranging safety and hygiene program – “Health & Safety Assured” for all of their guests and team members. The program has been created after a deep dive, into the entire guest cycle starting from reservation to check out, by the entire team of Cygnett Hotels.
The program – “Health & Safety Assured”, is designed around all the key guest touchpoints and compromises of all essential protocols and guidelines from WHO, Central & local health care agencies. Emphasis will be on providing a deep cleaned and sanitized environment across all the areas. Key foundations of the program are laid upon spotless rooms, safe public spaces, social distancing, F&B hygiene, and safe handling procedures, technological changes and enhancements, safety meetings, hygiene kiosks, trained and sensitized staff, and no contact payments.
Cygnett Hotels is developing and has developed various technological and artificial intelligence-based programs for its front ffice and F&B teams which will assist them in performing their functions maintaining social distance from the guest. This will also help guests coming to Cygnett Hotels to enjoy the same services albeit in a touchless manner. At present, the group has updated its PMS to provide contactless check-in & check out using mobile apps and has introduced QR code-based menus.
Addressing the program launch, Sarbendra Sarkar, M.D. & Founder said: “This was a jolt back to reality. As a society, we need to respect each other and work collectively to restore the balance that has been offset. Will be resilient in our approach. The hospitality group will work towards encouraging travel, and will adhere to paramount safety & hygiene protocols – even more so today."
