Novotel Hyderabad Airport assures an additional layer of safety for guests with its new UV cleaning device
The hotel has procured a specially designed UV trolley that is government approved for sanitizing all their rooms.
Novotel Hyderabad Airport, in addition to Accor’s ALLSAFE global cleanliness and prevention standards, has announced adding an extra layer of safety measure for its guests.
The hotel has introduced an UV cleaning device, which will be used to sanitise the guest rooms. Novotel Hyderabad Airport has procured a specially designed UV trolley that is government approved for sanitizing all their rooms.
After a guest vacates his/her room and checks-out, rigorous cleaning procedure is carried out, as defined under the Accor safety standards ALLSAFE. After the rooms have been completely cleaned, a trained team member from the housekeeping team disinfects the room using this UV machine. This sterilisation process ensures elimination of any nano germ particle present in the room thus providing an additional layer of safety. Post this procedure, the room is sealed with a one-time tamper proof sticker on the door and no staff is allowed to enter the room. This provides an assurance to the guests that the room is safe in all aspects for the guest to check-in.
In addition to the rooms, all the cutlery and crockery are also sterilised in a specially designed UV light enabled cabinet. The washed and dried crockery and cutlery are placed in the UV cabinet for a prescribed time period for sterilisation. Post this, the same is placed in a warmer cabinet ensuring the cutlery and crockery are safe and ready for use. During all the above sterilization process, the hotel team members are clad in a PPE kit to ensure zero exposure to the rays while maintaining the security standards.
