Kerala’s four tourist spots finds place in 10 most welcoming places in the country; tops the list for the second consecutive year
On the whole, the list is topped by Agonda in Goa followed by Mararikulam of Kerala
For the second consecutive year, Kerala has topped the list of ‘the most welcoming places’ in the country, with four of its tourist spots making it to the list of top 10 places this year. As per international travel site Booking.com’s ‘traveller review awards 2020, Kerala’s Mararikulam, Varkala, Thekkady and Kollam have made it to the top 10 list. The second state to make it to the list is Goa with Agonda and Palolem securing its position. On the whole, the list is topped by Agonda in Goa followed by Mararikulam of Kerala.
The other tourist spot that have made to the list include Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, Jaisalmer in Rajasthan and Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. While on the global level, the most welcoming place is Goreme in Turkey (for the second year in a row) followed by Tatranska Lomnica in Slovakia, Phong Nha in Vietnam, Kobarid in Slovenia, Cochem in Germany, Doolin of Ireland, Taitung City in Taiwan, Italy’s Schenna, Monte Verde of Brazil and Lake Tekapo of New Zealand.
