Jagdish Kumar, the founder of NRI Chaiwala, has announced plans to enter the FMCG sector by launching flavoured tea packets in a variety of flavours such as ginger, lemon, and elaichi, as well as some of his own special flavoured teas. The team also intends to expand and enter the markets of London and Dubai. Along with this, they intend to introduce 50 new tea flavours, with the goal of reaching a revenue of 100 crore by 2026.
With an active database of over 50000 customers, the company currently employs 35 people and has a turnover of Rs 1.2 crore in less than a year. Jagdish’s background and profession earned him the moniker ‘NRI Chaiwala.’ He created his own Chai Masala, which helps to enhance the flavour of the tea.
