Speciality Restaurants’ total comprehensive income for Q1 FY25 stood at ₹ 7.16 crores as against ₹ 6.21 crores in Q1 FY24

Speciality Restaurants Limited, a leading fine dining restaurant chain operator with Mainland China as its flagship brand and other brands like Asia Kitchen by Mainland China, Oh! Calcutta, Sigree-Global Grill, and Sweet Bengal, to name a few, on a consolidated basis, reported a total income of ₹ 111.52 crores with EBIDTA of ₹ 24.35 crores and PAT of ₹ 7.64 crores in Q1 FY25. Total comprehensive income for Q1 FY25 was ₹ 7.66 crore.

Standalone financial results: Total income was ₹ 105.52 crores for Q1 FY25 as against ₹ 98.19 crores in Q1 FY24, increasing by 7.47%. EBIDTA for Q1 FY25 was at ₹ 23.28 crores as against ₹ 20.54 crores, an increase of 13.34% on a YoY basis. PAT for Q1 FY25 was ₹ 7.15 crores as against ₹ 6.29 crores in Q1 FY24. Total comprehensive income for Q1 FY25 was ₹ 7.16 crores as against ₹ 6.21 crores for Q1 FY24.

Commenting on the performance of the company, Anjanmoy Chatterjee, Chairman and Managing Director of Speciality Restaurants Limited, commented that the company continues to focus on its Oriental brands and has opened Asia Kitchen by Mainland China at Phoenix Mall of Millennium at Wakad, Pune, and at Amanora Mall, Pune. The renovated Haka restaurant at City Centre, Kolkata, also opened during the quarter. We foresee an early breakeven of these new restaurants and a significant increase in the profits of the renovated restaurant. The focus on cost control measures is being driven continuously to neutralise the impact of inflation, resulting in improved gross margins. The company plans to open 3–4 new restaurants in the coming quarters.
