Step into THE Park Mumbai and you will never want to leave

THE Park Hotels brings its legendary design vocabulary to the city of dreams, Mumbai. Strategically located at Juhu Tara Road, the new hotel brings contemporary design, rejuvenating spaces, innovative dining and sensuous entertainment into the vibrant city. Close to the sprawling Juhu Beach and overlooking the Arabian Sea, the hotel is an uber-cool retreat. A striking charcoal grey facade, designed by leading architect Sanjay Puri, is punctuated with burnt orange and fuchsia windows that perfectly reflect the spectacular sunsets over at the Arabian Sea. The spaces inside the hotel glow with the colours of the sunset, especially during the evenings.

All the 54 studio rooms in the hotel enjoy spectacular views of either the sea or the city – some even overlook the historic Juhu airfield. Designed as spacious studios, the rooms progress from bathroom to bedroom to a generous living space, giving a residential feel to the suite. The soft monochromatic colour palette is accentuated with a dramatic black cabinet housing a refrigerator, tea and coffee amenities and a cocktail bar. A bold fuchsia or burnt orange table works both for dining as well as a work space. Bathrooms are luxuriously large with four fixtures. Fitted with custom 12-inch mattress, 43inch flat Smart TVs as well as many other impressive amenities, the rooms are anything but ordinary. Take the Zen Suite for instance. It is designed as a peaceful cocoon with a private living area for meetings or to entertain guests; and a luxurious Japanese soaking tub, from where once can indulge in the hotel’s signature cocktails.

Meishi, an elegant space off the lobby presents lavish and healthy breakfasts with interesting live acts by the chefs. The restaurant morphs into an Asian-inspired all-day dining featuring Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisine. The interior of the restaurant uses a palette of greys and black punctuated by bold gold and burnt orange. A private dining area enclosed in gold mesh serves as the perfect place for a celebratory lunch or dinner. When it comes to banquets and conference rooms, The Saffron Room is the perfect new venue for celebrations. The 2,500 sq-ft space on the first floor can be divided into two sections – perfect for both social as well as corporate events. The halls have two different types of lighting to enhance and make events more spectacular. Contemporary chandeliers and colour changing LEDs can change the mood and match the theme of the events. Opening soon is a dramatic whisky bar with a cosy alfresco patio as well as the addition of more rooms, a presidential suite, a spectacular poolside bar on the rooftop and a gym and spa.
