Gir gears up to greet its second Lemon Tree

The new property, slated to open in FY 2030, will feature 80 rooms and other modern amenities

Lemon Tree Hotels announced its latest signing: Lemon Tree Hotel, Gir, Gujarat. The new property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Gir, Gujarat, expected to open in FY 2030, will feature 80 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting room, a swimming pool, and a spa. The Rajkot Airport is about 167 km away, while Junagadh and Somnath Railway Stations are 60 km and 34 km away, respectively.

Gir National Park is famous the world over for being the last natural habitat of the Asiatic lion, a critically endangered subspecies. The park’s diverse ecosystem includes dense forests, grasslands, and water bodies, providing a suitable environment for various wildlife species. Other than lions, visitors can also spot leopards, antelopes, deer, and a variety of bird species. The park’s scenic beauty and rich biodiversity make it a popular destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
