Recently on 25th September 2021 Skål International Pune celebrated an Initiative “E-volution program” of Skål International India under the same program offered a total of 21 gadgets to Torana Rajgad Parisar Samjonnati Nyas.
On this occasion Skl Carl Vaz President Skål International India, Skl Krishna Gopalan Secretary, Skål International India, Skl Avijit Chaturvedi President Skål International Pune alongwith the Pune Club Executive Committee and Club Members were present.
Ramesh Ambekar Secretary Torana Rajgad Parisar Samjunnati Nyas and Mr Sudhir Kalkar President of Swanand Janakalyan Prathishthan Pune were also present to receive the gadgets while thanking Mr Ambekar informed that it’s a timely aid which will be used for the underprivileged students who cannot afford to buy computers and phones to learn in these difficult times of pandemic. He also briefed the august gathering about the ongoing work and projects undertaken by the foundations.
Now the gadgets are already been installed 13 personal computers are at the Torana Vidyarthi Vasatigruha Velha and 8 are installed at Winzer College. The students have already started using the units given as the installation happened at the schools immediately within a week’s time and studies are also started.
The event took place at Double Tree by Hilton, Pimpri Chinchwad followed by Cocktails & Dinner.
Skl Krishna Gopalan, Skl Rajas Dhakephalkar, Skl Shekhar Walavalkar & Skl Avijit Chaturvedi helped generously for the cause.
Skl Upendra Kulkarni, Director Young Skål for Skål International Pune was instrumental to identify the needy group of students.
