A record of 1465 nominations was received during the jury process and the awards were presented for 19 categories across three segments

The recently concluded 11th edition of Hotelier India awards 2019 proved to be an eventful platform to network, celebrate and recognise the best names of the hospitality business.

The gala awards evening held at Taj Palace New Delhi brought together crème de la crème of the hospitality industry and also saw presence of eminent dignitaries including  Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, Honourable Minister, Tourism, Odisha and Vishal Kumar Dev, IAS, Commissioner cum Secretary Tourism, Government of Odisha, who graced the occasion as guest of honour. 

The celebratory evening kicked off with Power Chat – a panel discussion on ‘Reimagining Hospitality’ moderated by Kapil Chopra, Founder and CEO, The Postcard Hotel along with KB Kachru, Chairman Emeritus, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Nakul Anand, Executive Director, ITC and Patu Keswani, Chairman & MD, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. 

Post this engaging session, Gurmeet Sachdev, Publishing Director, Hotelier India felicitated the speakers.

This was followed by a power-packed dance performance by Padma Shri Odissi exponent Aruna Mohanty and the artistes of Orissa Dance Academy which proved to be the highlight of the memorable evening.
