Receiving the Hotelier India Award is a true testimony to the exceptional results delivered by the Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield, especially since it is from such a reputed media house in the country.

I would like to dedicate this recognition to my team who relentlessly ensures care for each and every customer. The support from the management helped me to attain my goals.

My inspiration are my general managers, mentors and the passionate hoteliers who I worked with.

Attitude matters — it helps to make the workplace a better environment, increases the associates' morale and productivity.

My winning mantra is: “Don’t wish for it, work for it”.

I am always driven to be the best at what I do. I want to take on interesting projects, develop my skills, and learn. The next five years are full of responsibilities, which need better decisiveness.

I personally start small with the biggest priorities and go on from there. By no means do I believe that one can sit around, visualise and expect it to happen. You have to put in energy to make things happen.

The hospitality industry is my identification and it has given me everything that I am right now. I love it because it seems to be the culmination of every skill I ever learned.

There is joy in hosting and interacting with guests. It’s life changing and more of what the world needs.
