Winning the Hotelier India Award is an absolute honour. I am earnestly grateful for the recognition I have received for my work.
Team work and strategic focus — from leadership, to management and planning — are the key factors that ensured my win.
Awards are like ingredients in a bigger recipe. I believe, an award ensures that your CV stands out, especially when the award is relevant to the role you are performing in an organisation.
My biggest supporter to date is Saravana Raj, Area Director of Engineering, Marriott who inspired me and extended strong support in my career.
My work strategy is to complete small tasks as part of a larger goal. Attention to detail is my main concern, but I never lose sight of the end result, which is key.
I’d like to be seen as someone with deep expertise in hotel engineering maintenance, and I know that’s an area in which I’ll have an opportunity to do much more.
I always self-assess my career, so that I am aware of the stage at which I am right now. I explore and then make a decision about my career growth and future plans. The only person who knows what’s right for me is me.
I’m passionate about hospitality. Greeting people with warmth, making them feel welcome, honestly wanting to provide them with an excellent and unforgettable experience, helps us to feel our shared humanity and extend support to each other.
