The very moment of being declared a winner of the Hotelier India Award is in itself a special moment for me; it has got etched in my memory forever.

The key factors behind my win are commitment towards creating memorable moments for our esteemed guests and the financial progress of the department.

Winning a recognition such as the Hotelier India Awards serves as a key milestone in one's career. Having won this recognition will only motivate me to strive hard and achieve my goals. It will have a lasting impact on my career graph for sure.

My biggest support/inspiration are all those who have guided me throughout my journey — from my seniors to fellow colleagues. I owe it to them.

My winning mantra is to stay glued to what is happening on the shop floor and surroundings, keep the team aligned to the vision of the department, and ensure that the team is motivated.

In the next five years, I would like to see myself at a more respected and responsible position in a hotel. To be more specific, I would like to see myself heading operations of a hotel in a couple of years.

The hospitality industry is extremely demanding but there is a lot that we can learn and gain exposure to, unlike many other fields. I am very sure that in the coming years, technology will revolutionise the industry and its operations.
