The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) in collaboration with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) conducted an online Food Safety Supervisory Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) programme on 23rd August 2022. Conducted virtually, the session saw a participation of 29 hospitality professionals from various hotel and restaurant establishments from across the Western region. The programme was jointly conducted by Vivekanand and Divya Bhaskaran with focus on health and food handling practices for hospitality personnel.

“Prioritizing education in food safety and handling SOPs amongst hospitality professionals is an on-going endeavour. Impeccable kitchen etiquettes are paramount for any respectable establishment and FSSAI’s FoSTaC programme aims to make hospitality establishments achieve the best standards. HRAWI is thankful to the hospitality establishments for proactively enrolling their personnel in the programme and we plan to continue organizing these programmes every month,” says Mr Sherry Bhatia, President, HRAWI.

HRAWI has successfully trained and certified 2321 hospitality professionals all across India’s Western region in FoSTaC and FSSAI’s Management Training Program.
