With the festive cheer filling the air with much-needed joy and happiness, The Westin Chennai Velachery welcomed the yuletide season with a Christmas Tree Lighting evening. The hotel’s annual tree lighting ceremony is symbolic of ushering the festive spirit, good times and a reminder to celebrate the merriest time of the year.
The event was attended by city’s crème de la crème who joined the hotel’s team to celebrate the evening over Christmas carols, Hors d’oeuvres, delectable beverages such as Hot Buttered Rum and Christmas Punch.
Lakshmanan Ramanathan, General Manager, addressed the gathering and welcomed everyone to the hotel’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting event and invited all the little guests to join him in lighting the Christmas tree and inaugurating the beginning of the festive season.
The choir kept guests engaged and enthralled with the singing of Christmas carols and many guests and children joined the choir too.
