Bellona Hospitality unveils Eight: A luxury pan-Asian experience at Mall of Asia, Bengaluru

The culinary haven will serve piquant cocktails, delicate dim sums, enchanting tempuras, and heartwarming temakis

Bellona Hospitality, the luxury arm of The Phoenix Mall of Asia, debuts Eight, a Pan-Asian bar and restaurant, in Bengaluru. Located in the city’s luxury retail hub, Eight redefines the culinary scene with a fusion of Eastern and Oriental flavours. As its third outlet and first in Bengaluru, Eight promises a unique blend of luxury dining and eclectic shopping, offering a rich cultural and gastronomic experience.

Spearheaded by Prashant Issar of Bellona Hospitality and Chef Sagar Sarkar, Eight brings the Izakaya dining style to life, offering a refined culinary experience. Inspired by the Chinese number eight, symbolizing wealth, innovation, and tradition, Eight serves delicacies from Canton, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Japan, alongside rare dishes from forgotten Chinese regions. The bar, with its corten steel and rice paper design, adds a distinctive charm to the space.

Speaking on the launch, Prashant Issar said, “We are extremely excited for the launch of Eight in Bengaluru. The city has seen an immense boom in the F&B industry, and our passion is to blend the richness of Asian cuisine with the city’s vibrant energy, creating an experience beyond mere dining. We want to create a space where every dish, every cocktail, and every moment is meticulously crafted to mesmerize our patrons and redefine their expectations.”

Eight, the latest offering from Bellona Hospitality, brings a luxurious Pan-Asian dining experience to Bengaluru at the Phoenix Mall of Asia. Specializing in Cantonese dishes, sushi, tempura, and curries, Eight’s menu features over 15 sushi varieties, innovative dim sums, and standout creations like Jasmine Smoked Pork Ribs and Chilean Sea Bass with Taiwanese Chili Sauce. Vegetarian delights include Truffle Edamame Fried Rice and Tofu & Eggplant in Black Bean Claypot, complemented by signature desserts and curated beverages.

The sophisticated design blends Asian opulence with modern flair, featuring textured walls, stained wood railings, and a serene terrace with stylish seating. The bar, the centrepiece, divides the space into intimate sections, enhancing the dining experience.

After its success in Mumbai and Lucknow, Eight debuts in South India, offering a culinary journey where every dish tells a story, redefining Bengaluru’s dining scene.
