Harajuku Tokyo Cafe opens second outlet at Ambience Mall, Gurugram

The Japanese café’s flagship store was launched in Saket a year ago

Harajuku Tokyo Cafe, a Japanese street food inspired QSR, is gearing up to launch their second outlet in the NCR at Ambience Mall, Gurugram. The brand has witnessed significant growth since it first opened in Select CityWalk, Saket and is looking forward to expanding further in the future.

With its light-as-air breads, exotic Japanese dishes and desserts, Harakuju has managed to become a hotspot not only for its scrumptious Japanese offerings but also for a one-of-a-kind dining experience for food lovers.

An highly Instagrammable café, the restaurant offers an array of gastronomical delights from Japan like boba tea, freshly baked Japanese Jiggly cheesecake, desserts and breads, and made-on-order street food like takoyaki, chicken karaage and the 12-inch-long Japanese fries; fun desserts like taiyaki, and the popular Harajuku crepes; ramen, chahan, sushi amongst other lip smacking dishes. The new outlet in Gurgaon spread across 2400 sq ft. and seating of around 50 guests offers an upgraded menu with numerous new additions like Shrimp dynamite, Gyoza ramen, Lotus biscoff pancakes, Mochi donuts, new boba tea flavours etc.

With its walls designed to radiate Japanese energy and pop culture, Harajuku Tokyo Cafe is the reincarnation of the original Harajuku streets inside four walls. Murals, a live baking station, mangas and a claw machine, all give its patrons a ride through Harajuku Street in Tokyo.

Furthermore, the new branch will be seeing new additions like sakura trees, booth type seating, handmade terrazzo flooring etc. in design and interiors to escalate the Japanese aesthetics of the place.

Gaurav Kanwar, Founder of Harajuku Tokyo Café stated, “The gastronomic expedition of bringing Japanese flavours to Indian dining with pleasing interiors has been enthralling. Harajuku Tokyo Cafe has been well-received by the patrons in Select Citywalk, Saket and the success of our first outlet has encouraged us to embrace and serve the food connoisseurs and enthusiasts in Ambience Mall, Gurugram as well. We are delighted to take a step closer to reaching more patrons, and further intend to celebrate the food from the land of the rising sun in India. Kickstarting the new outlet with a token of love, we shall offer free boba tea to our first 100 customers at Ambience Mall!”

Kanwar has collaborated with restaurateur, Anshuman Malik, to expand the café to other cities within the next two years. This will include the introduction of smaller F&B outlet formats and franchises across the country.
