Pawan Singh is the new Director of Food & Beverage at St. Regis Goa Resort as its Food & Beverage programme accelerates into a stimulating new phase, resulting in the unveiling of a cache of brand new restaurants. Pawan will be instrumental in the positioning of the new outlets, Miri, Oliveto, and Riverside, and ensuring all aspects of food and beverage operations run seamlessly.
A seasoned Marriott loyalist for over a decade, Pawan joined the company as Food and Beverage Supervisor at the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel and Suites way back in 2013. He then moved to Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi in 2016 to open the first Marriott in the UAE’s capital city. Pawan held numerous roles in Marriott Abu Dhabi while growing his leadership and was then transferred as F&B Manager to Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2019. The hotel achieved new heights and established a great food and beverage reputation in the Khmer capital city. Even during the testing COVID times, which resulted in a huge slump in overall hotel operations, the hotel delivered remarkable financial results, as a result of which it was felicitated with the Highest Food and Beverage Revenue Award by Marriott International in the APEC region. Pawan’s last role was as Director of Food and Beverage at the picturesque Westin Siray Bay Resort and Spa in Phuket, Thailand. He played a pivotal role here in retrieving the resort’s restaurants and bars from the COVID impact and taking them through a stimulated growth corridor.
Excited about this new role, Pawan remarked that he’s “thrilled to be a part of the inspired leadership team at The St. Regis Goa Resort, where the new dining establishments would complete the resort’s appeal as the perfect vacation option.”
“Our resort has already made its mark as a must-visit destination for curated experiences. I am excited to see Pawan’s leadership take our dining programme to a world-class league. Having had extensive, hands-on experience across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Pawan has a well-rounded global exposure and understanding of luxury and leisure guests and would certainly add immense value to the existing team,” sums up Satish Kumar, General Manager of The St. Regis Goa Resort.
