Hilton’s Bhagwan Balani wins Hospitality Superstars Award
Bhagwan Balani, general manager of Hilton Mumbai International Airport, was recently recognised as a Hospitality Superstar at the award ceremony hosted by the World Federation of Hospitality Professionals & Stars of the Industry Group. A veteran in the hospitality space with 23 years of experience, he won the achievement based on his recent tenure as the general manager for Hilton Mumbai International Airport. In addition to running a successful property, based on service, quality and customer feedback, he was adjudged along with other established industry leaders through his vast experience in different areas of the business and demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills.
“I feel blessed and humbled with this recognition, which elevates my confidence to deliver best for my hotel and team members. It is due to their collective support and focus which has resulted in business achievement setting up new records,” said Balani.
The award by Stars of the Industry Group is instituted with an aim of recognizing professionals who have excelled and made a difference to their corporation. Their research cell consistently aims at researching and identifying professionals who have a high contribution value to the organizations they serve.
The award consideration criteria comprises internal perception of the individual, within the organisation and external perception balanced on credibility, achievement and value contribution to the business. Other criteria were track record of performance and achievements and values, integrity and work life balance. The selection is done by the jury, while no entry/submission is filed by individual/organisation.
