The fourth edition of Hotel Build India promises to be a power-packed day of information and interaction
With the aim to bring together experts from every vertical included in the hospitality construction industry, to address topics that shed light on the various opportunities and challenges in the segment, the Hotel Build Forum 2016 puts forth its day-long conference on the 10th of June, 2016 at the Westin Hotel, Gurgaon. With the resounding success and support of the industry in all the previous editions of the forum, Hotel Build India 2016 is back again, geared up to charter into new opportunities and challenges in the domain. The event will bring together the leading hoteliers, owners and developers, architects, designers and consultants amongst others from across the brands to throw light on various issues faced by the industry and also focus on budget, economy and mid-market segment hotels, latest architectural and design trends, technology innovations, financial models, green hotels and much more.
The first panel discussion rightly titled the ‘CEO Panel’, deliberates on the effective interworking with all the key-stakeholders like operators, developers, architects and designers that will aid rapid, cost-effective and sustainable hotel-build strategies. The panel aims to understand key drivers to enter into the hotel build, while working around challenges surrounding land acquisition, several licences, structural and design challenges. The panel will also touch base on guest comfort and affordability, and on collaborating with domestic and international hotel operators to enable the rapid build out of hotels in India.
The second panel discussion focuses on one of the most relevant, and yet ambiguous, topic of ‘Profit by Design’ by understanding the futuristic design trends that would provide cost-effective strategies for hotels. The panellist would look at new trends from the international interior design arena and identify ground breaking new approaches to adopt. They’ll also touch base on understanding the FSI challenges associated with hotel projects in India, while deliberating on establishing innovative design approaches to maximise features, aesthetics and comfort levels at restrictive FSI levels
In addition to the topics addressed previously, the most recent upcoming trend in the industry has been with regards to technology and infrastructure being integrated within the properties that serve to not only enhance the guest experience but also help conserve resources. Given this, the third panel topic aims to leverage latest innovations in various sector to ensure consistent serviceability of the hotel facility and thereby explore measures that help reduce operational costs and enhance guest experience.
The topics have been selected after thorough understanding of the fact that hotels by design are non-sustainable entities, and especially, with regulatory norms coming in, the existence of non-sustainable hotels will become impossible. The ‘Developer’s Panel’ will look at simultaneously reducing building costs, getting the right partners and improving performance.
The entire day will have expewrts exchanging ideas and knowledge and learning form each other to go back enriched for better performance. Thus, the summit looks forward to leveraging the expertise of individuals from diverse sectors in the field, to help establish a rapport between the variegated stakeholder to deliberate on their conceding differences, conferred opportunities and the booming future.
