As the Front Office Manager of the hotel for over a year, Ashish Sharma has revolutionised the upsell system, introduced fleet changes, and implemented effective cost management for the setup. The hotel was averaging a monthly upsell of Rs 8 lakhs in 2016 and 2017. With introduction of the new incentive, the average monthly upsell has increased up to Rs 15 lakhs, resulting in 46% increase YTD 2018.
Moreover, the hotel fleet was upgraded to a brand new BMW 5 and BMW 7 series, which resulted in increase in the luxury quotient, guest experience and transport revenue by 10% YTD. The establishment of a requisition process of consumable items on the consumption per night basis resulted in cost saving by 5% YTD. During Sharma’s tenure, the hotel was chosen as a pilot property to drive key-less entry project and execute the largest guest data portal globally. Effective execution resulted in ranking the hotel 2nd and 10th globally in measureable parameters for guest data portal and keyless entry.
