Indian School of Hospitality’s grand inauguration

ISH, founded by hospitality veteran Dilip Puri, will be launched on 10th August 2018 at the ISH Campus in Gurugram.

The Indian School of Hospitality was established with the objective to disrupt the hospitality education by redefining and reimagining the way teaching is delivered for better learning experiences for students, hospitality and other allied industries.

One of the key dignitaries who will be present during the launch include Frits van Paasschen, author of Amazon best-seller ‘The Disruptors’ Feast’ and the former CEO of Starwood Hotels and Coors Brewing Company. Prior to being CEO, he was President of Nike Europe, Middle East and Africa and VP, Finance at Disney.

ISH’s founder-CEO Dilip Puri was the former MD (India) and regional VP president (South Asia) of Starwood Hotels & Resorts. The school’s advisory council includes top C-suite employees from Marriott International, The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris, AccorHotels, Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts and Jet Airways, ITP Media India, etc.

ISH envisions its curriculum design to be a global benchmark of hospitality education, and in order has a strategic partnership with Lausanne Hospitality Consulting (LHC) for curriculum development and faculty training. It has partnered with LHC in preparation for an academic certification by Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the world’s oldest and top ranked hospitality management higher education institution worldwide. In addition to the Four Year Hospitality Management Programme, ISH will offer several long and short-term programmes in both culinary and executive education.

Located in Sector 83 of Gurgaon, ISH will be housed within a commercial campus that boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities and is close to city’s leading hotels. The institute, location in an urban centric destination with strong commercial, retail and residential catchment areas in close proximity, aims to provide a work-life balance to students for enhancing their productivity and creativity.
