Jaypee Residency Manor, Mussoorie launches new restaurant

Jaypee Residency Manor, Mussoorie has refurnished and launched Regency, a global cuisine restaurant. Regency is being positioned as a signature restaurant of the hilltop hotel with multi-cuisine offerings and live counter preparations. The terrace seating at the eatery gives a panoramic view of the Himalayas, while guests dine on local Garhwali cuisine, which is the restaurant’s specialty. It also offers an option of cuisines like Asian, Continental and Indian. Some popular fare includes Bhatti da Murg, Bhunee Chaat, Mattar wali Tikki, Dal Regency and Regency ka Khaas Naan.

The food at Regency is inspired from the farm to table concept where chefs use fresh and organic ingredients, which enhances the overall taste and quality of food. Ingredients are also sourced from experienced horticulturists, local vendors and the kitchen garden.
Special attention has been paid to the restaurant’s décor. Artefacts, cutlery and furniture have been handpicked from select artisans and artists from around the country. Extensive glassware like decorative like lights, jars, vases specially designed to suit the ambience of the restaurant were sourced from Firozabad. The crockery and artware at Regency have been procured from Khurja artisans, which are famous for their crafts on pottery and ceramic items. The wooden serving bowls showcase the latest wooden work from Saharanpur.
