The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace has recently appointed Ravinder Singh Panwar as their Executive Chef to overlook the entire food concept flowing through the property.

Cooking is an art that caters to blending emotions together for people. Always looking for opportunities to create mesmerizing flavors to tingle taste buds, he is an experienced culinary enthusiast. A paradigm shift from his major in Delhi University with a Bachelors in Commerce, Executive Chef Panwar has a vertical shift and inspiring back story to his discovery of the culinary world. He began his hospitality journey with an apprenticeship at The Oberoi, New Delhi, post which the only way for him, was forward.

A seasoned Chef with over 15 years of work experience in the hospitality industry, he has worked globally and pan India in his previous assignments.

His previous stint as an Executive Chef comprises multiple years of experience at various properties, including Hyatt Regency Gurugram, Kochi Marriott Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal. His prior experience includes Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield Hotel (pre-opening), Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott, Taj Falaknuma Palace (pre-opening), The Imperial in New Delhi, and the Oberoi Hotels & Resorts.

His international experience adds value to the culinary experiences that he crafts. He has led massive banquets and curated exceptional promotions during his tenure.

Some of his experience in Japan includes Hotel Hilton Tokyo Bay, Disney Land & Sea Resorts, Japan and Kikunoi Restaurant Tokyo, a Michelin star Restaurant.

His overseas assignments that requisitioned his knowledge as Task Force include Hotel Sheraton Grand Conakry in West Africa, JW Marriott Marquis in Seoul in South Korea, New York Marriott Marquis in the USA, and JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square, Seoul in South Korea and Marriott Sukhumvit Hotel in Bangkok.

A thorough believer in working to excel and curate experiences unthought or unheard of before, his due mannerism has helped his previous hotels achieve major accolades. In addition, he has always ensured that his deliverables oversee the forecasted results and close on higher profits. He is an audit champion when it involves Culinary Food Safety & Food Standard.

In his newly assigned role at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, he will be responsible for successful culinary management across the outlets, the conventions as well in-room dining options. His expertise will help drive the financial budgets and achieve goals set by the management. Under his proficient guidance, the hotel is undoubtedly bound to regain from the adverse impact of the pandemic and reach greater heights.

Executive Chef Ravinder Singh Panwar loves traveling and Cricket and enjoys time with kids, family and friends in his time off work. Despite having an upper hand in global cuisines, his personal favorite still remains Barbeque/Spit-roasting from Tandoori chicken, Steaks, Yakitori in the Indian, Continental & Japanese food respectively.
