A highly-accomplished professional with a diversified selling experience and excellent organizational skills, he has been constantly meeting customer acquisition goals and contributing to maximum revenue for all the top-of-the-line hotels he has been associated with in his career.
Patra is a key member for The Westin Kolkata by leveraging his in-depth expertise to influence stakeholders and translate ideas into results. He is using his vast repertoire of experience with exceptional results to mentor a talented team of sales executives. His key responsibility areas include ideation and implementation of sales and marketing operatives, establishing brand associations with potential commercial houses and clients, achieving budgeted sales targets as well as hiring/training of the sales team to further bolster guest services in tune with the brand’s legendary hospitality standards. Assisting the General Manager for budget preparation, procuring new and repeat businesses and analysing performance of competitors to stay abreast of them also fall under the purview of his work.
Before joining The Westin Kolkata, Patra was supremely successful in a similar designation at Novotel Guwahati in the pre-opening and ramp up stage. The innovative and creative sales strategies implemented by him were highly appreciated and led to improved financial health of the brand. Prior to this, he has proved his mettle at Andaz Delhi as the Associate Director of Sales.
