AweSpace to build ultra luxury villas in Ayodhya and Lakshadweep, India’s new tourist hubs

The company aims to raise a significant INR 100 crore funding, catering to the burgeoning demand for luxury travel experiences across India.

With Ayodhya and Lakshadweep emerging as India’s newer tourism destinations, AweSpace Ventures Private Limited – a leading real estate transaction advisory firm in diversified investments in ultra-luxurious properties – has drawn ambitious plans to develop bespoke residential retreats. The company aims to raise a significant INR 100 crore funding, catering to the burgeoning demand for luxury travel experiences across India.

The strategic decision to develop ultra-luxurious villas into these premium destinations – Ayodhya and Lakshadweep – comes at a time when these locales have garnered global attention as India’s most sought-after destinations. India and the world, at large, is focused on the much-anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. Whereas, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi posted breath-taking images on social media from his recent visit to India’s smallest union territory, showcasing pristine beaches and an exhilarating snorkelling experience, has propelled Lakshadweep onto the global arena.

Articulated his enthusiasm for this ambitious endeavour, Vijay Naraayanan, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, AweSpace Ventures Private Limited, said, “Ayodhya and Lakshadweep have emerged as the epitome of sophistication and prestige and it marks a paradigm shift in the world of real estate and it is poised to reshape the landscape of luxury real estate. We are contemplating a boutique yet an exclusive bespoke villa projects in Lakshadweep, while in Ayodhya, which has undergone an epic makeover, we aspire to set new benchmarks in opulent living while fulfilling the discerning tastes of our clientele.”

Ayodhya, Naraayanan highlighted, has now become part of the burgeoning temple towns in India, contributing significantly to the country’s spiritual tourism. “There has been a noticeable shift in the last two years, witnessing a significant surge in the demand for spiritual tourism. This surge isn’t just limited to senior citizens but extends across various demographics, including multi-generational families, couples, groups of friends, millennials as well as Gen-Z,” he added.

To materialise these grand projects, AweSpace is seeking to raise Rs 100 crore. “This substantial investment will enable the development of these ultra-luxury properties, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and the creation of an unparalleled living environment for their affluent clientele,” said Naraayanan.

AweSpace’s vision resonates with the increasing demand for premium residential villas, providing a fusion of luxury and unmatched opulence, catering to individuals seeking an indulgent escape. “Our initial plans were to expand our footprints in Maldives as part of our first foreign luxury villa project, but the recent offensive comments by Maldivian ministers directed towards India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have led us to reconsider and drop our plans,” Naraayanan pointed out.

With a fusion of opulence, privacy, and unparalleled experiences, these villas will attract diverse clienteles, including high-net-worth individuals (HNIs and UHNIs) and discerning buyers seeking a unique lifestyle proposition.

Moreover, the company has outlined a comprehensive plan, commencing with the development of fully-furnished ultra-luxurious villa estates and mansions across approximately 150 acres of land. These exquisite properties will be situated in six prime tourist destinations, including Goa, Alibaug, Mashobra, Udaipur, and the Nilgiri Hills – Kotagiri, Coonoor and Ooty. Encompassing a plethora of spectacular features and amenities such as private pools, landscaped gardens, and clubhouses, these properties aim to redefine luxurious living experiences.
