Courtyard by Marriott is pleased to announce the appointment of Archana Sawant as the new Director of Human Resources. Enriched with years of experience in the hospitality industry, Archana aims to further enhance the human resources function with automation and swift service for fast moving operations and efficiency in the business.
Archana switched from banking and financial recruiting to the hospitality industry with Hyatt International where she handled various Pilot Projects for the Hyatt Operations in India. Further, on, she set off on a journey with The Marriott International in 2018 as the Human Resources Manager with the Best Address, The St. Regis Mumbai. Her next assignment was with the Flagship property JW Marriott Mumbai, Juhu in the year 2021 as the Assistant Director of Human Resources.
With every brand adding a new learning experience to Archana’s career trajectory, her professional journey is a rich palette of diverse experiences. She has been with The St. Regis Mumbai, where she marinated in the best luxury quotient in the HR operations and Human Capital department. Her repertoire extends to JW Marriott Juhu, the legendary, landmark and the benchmark of expectations and deliverables with complex operations. Now at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai, a gateway brand and the largest in the Marriott brand portfolio, she will be a great addition to the team.
