The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences has announced the appointment of Deepak Verma as the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Having started his career with The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts as part of the regional sales team, he returns to home base to lead the sales operations at The Leela Ambience Gurugram. In his current stint with the brand, his core focus will be to increase market share and implement other revenue generation campaigns.
Prior to this, Deepak gained exposure with international brands like Movenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore, Hyatt Regency Delhi, Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity and The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace. An alumnus of IILM Institute for Higher Education, Gurgaon, Deepak also did his Bachelor in Commerce from North Bengal University.
Deepak has worked across large format hotels while leading the hotel to achieve its budget with strategic planning and implementation. His in-depth knowledge of the key markets & business segments combined with his business acumen equips him to position the hotel a notch above.
On a personal side, Deepak likes to build meaningful relationships with his guests and goes the extra mile as a true hotelier. In his free time, he likes to catch up on his list of movies and loves to engage in outdoor sports whenever given a chance.
